Little Dragon, the Swedish group fronted by sensational, out-of-this world lady, Yukimi Nagano, have announced their 4th LP entitled Nabuma Rubberband. The album is heralded by its first single, the track cutely entitled Klapp Klapp.

Klapp Klapp see the band bringing in previously unheard elements into their music, making the track their most forward, unclassifiable and innovative one yet. It’s the funky drum motorik that hints a direction towards something new. The hardcore fans need not to worry though, because Klapp Klapp is still rooted in Little Dragon’s past. Nagano’s breathless delivery and large and greasy synthesizer loop will surely make you feel like home.

Arrivals: John Grant – Pale Green Ghosts

john-grant

For a decade until 2004, John Grant was the mastermind behind the indie lords, The Czars. Later, in 2010, as a solo artist recorded one of the best alternative albums of the past few years, the moody collaboration with musicians from Midlake, entitled The Queen of Denmark.

For the upcoming LP, Grant called for the production aid on the one of the electronic wizards from the Icelandic collective, Gus Gus.  Pale Green Ghosts is the one of the biggest surprises of the end of 2012 and will be scoring a very hight place on the Top 100 tracks of the year on NoSnobsAllowed. The album, recorded in Iceland, is out in March on Bella Union. Besides Binni Veira of Gus Gus on production, it also features Sinead O’Connor on backing vocals.

Arrivals: Kamp! – Sulk / Brodka – Dancing Shoes (Kamp! Remix) Video

There’s a lot going on in the camp of Kamp!, the synth pop sensation from Poland.

Yesterday the band have shared their new single, the delicate, Balearic Sulk, which is also available for a free download via Soundclound.

also announced their long-awaited debut album, which is unexpectedly expected (wink) in November via Discotexas (I suppose).

But that’s not all. Today saw the premiere of the video to their stunning remix of Dancing shoes by another Pole, (Monika) Brodka.

I can honestly say that I’m a happy Kamp!’er.

Also check out their treatment for another Polish band, Twilite and their I Am The Sun track.
